On the 29th of May 2010, me & my friends (aka Bodyguards) went to Mahua Waterfall (after i 'down to knees' begging them to go :D ..). Located in Tambunan or to be more precise, in Kampung Patau, Tambunan, Sabah (Borneo) & approximate 1½ or 2 hours...drive from Kota Kinabalu (Capital city of Sabah). And.....walking 15minutes or 30 from the main entrance (its depends how fast you walk :D )
Mahua Waterfall is a pristine natural fall that nestled deep in the tropical forest of the Crocker Mountain Range. This waterfall is approximately 17 metres tall and has a pool depth of 1.3 metres. This is the second time i went there. First time in December 1999, when 'the Government' haven't done or upgraded anything yet, no entrance fee & 'more natural'..
This is the entrance to the waterfall. We have to walk from here.
